Technical Specification And Features:
Hero Honda Super Splendor is among the most popular bikes in the world. A range of useful features make it a favorite of average commuter. An executive segment motorcycle, it has been produced keeping the office-goers in mind. The bike is equipped with all necessary safety and comfort features.
Looks and Styling
The bike is available in multiple color variants such as Frost Blue, Cloud Silver, Mono Tone Black, Dual Tone Black, and Blazing Red. New decals are interspersed all over the new Splendor and the front mudguard has assumed more angular proportions. A handy lockable storage bin fills the large void between the fuel tank and the engine. The bike has an effective halogen-equipped headlamp and an impressive front bikini fairing. The skinny tank and seat blend with body colors, and the bike also has a chrome filler lid. The side panels are contoured with a difference, although the tail fairing is similar to the original Splendor model. The bike employs steel sub-frame sections to mount its pillion foot-pegs.
Control and Comfort
Seating arrangement in the bike is quite relaxing. It is associated with other comfort features too such as less strain while clutching and declutching, low noise and less vibration engine etc, making it more user friendly bike. Features like trip meter, peep hole and large utility box add to the convenience of the biker. The bike has safety features like pass switch, muffler with heat shield, and push cancel indicator switch etc. The switchgear is completely revised – with high and low beam available at the push of a button instead of a switch.
Engine
Its 124.7cc engine makes 9bhp at 7000rpm, while the torque figure is stronger at 1.05kgm churned out at 4000rpm. The engine uses a pair of valves driven by a single overhead camshaft and uses the now-regular roller bearings for its rocker arms.
