Control and Comfort
The bike has analogue fuelgauge and speedometer with fuel tank of 14.5 litres. Sturdy body and ergonomical seat ensure comfortable long journey for the biker and pilionrider. It is an enjoyable motorcycle to ride, able to keep up with today’s traffic. The bike is equipped with transistor coil ignition (TCI) for easy start-ups, four speed gearbox with right foot gear shift, wide-soft seat, clear lens headlight, and gas filled shock absorbers offering smooth ride. Short bottle silencer is filled with new glass wool.
Engine
The vehicle is available in India in 350cc while for international market, 500cc engine has been developed. For international version, the engine has been developed in conjunction with Austrian powertrain systems developer AVL, to meet stringent worldwide noise and emission regulations. International Electra has a bit of more power, disc front brake, gas rear shocks, constant velocity 29mm carb, transistorised coil ignition, higher gearing than the classic Bullets. They use Avon, Super Venom and Roadrunner profiled tyres.
Indian version Bullet Electra has Single Cylinder 4 Stroke OHV SI Engine Air Cooled producing maximum power of 18bhp@5000rpm and maximum torque of 3.26kgm@3000rpm. It has 5 speed gearbox with Telescopic Hydraulic damping front suspension while rear suspension has swing arm with adjustable and gas filledshock absorbers
